Gianluca Gelmini graduated at Politecnico di Milano in 1996 and received his PhD in Architectural Composition at the IUAV in Venice. In 2005, he completed the School of Specialization in Restoration of Monuments at Politecnico di Milano. He has taught at Politecnico di Milano, Università di Parma and Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio. His researches and designs have been published in several national and international scientific journals.
In 2004, he has founded the architectural firm CN10, engaged in public and private works. Among the most significant: the restoration of San Giorgio e San Giuliano Churches in Bonate Sotto (Bergamo, 2000-2004 and 2015-2016); the restoration of Botta church in Sotto il Monte (Bergamo, 2010-2012); the restoration of Palazzo Furietti Carrara in Presezzo (Bergamo, 2004-2009); the extension of the Parish Center of Carvico (Bergamo, 2009-2010); the restoration of Torre del Borgo in Villa d'Adda (Bergamo, 2015); the restoration of a school in Miniera di Novafeltria (Rimini, 2008-2014).
