Augusto Angelini is a Chilean architect based in Italy. Graduated in 1998 from the Pontificia Universidad Católica of Chile, he obtained a PhD in Architectural Composition from Politecnico di Milano. He has taught at the Pontificia Universidad Católica, the Universidad Diego Portales and Universidad del Desarrollo in Santiago, at IUAV of Venice and Politecnico di Milano. He has been contributing to many international seminars about modern architecture, Chilean architecture, Italian architecture, landscape and museology.
After having worked as team leader in the offices, among others, of Sebastian Irarrazabal and Alejandro Aravena in Chile, he has started his own practice in Marano (Venice, Italy). Among his major works: Painter's House in Curacavi (Chile, 2007); the three houses Ecoloft 1, Ecoloft 2 and Ecoloft 3 in Curacavi (Chile, 2012); and Casa Gantes (Santiago del Chile, 2012).
