How to use the Forum

Do you want to communicate effectively with your students and encourage interaction between them?


If you haven't already done so you can add the Forum page!


(Go to Course → click on Add in the top right → choose Forum)


Go to the Forum section and organise it into Topics and discussions. Once you have created a new Topic you can enter it and create a new discussion thread.

You'll be able to choose whether to publish the discussion immediately or Save it as a draft and evaluate it later on.


You can decide to receive email notification every time the students add a new message. To do this at a general level for the entire Forum click on Activate email notification in the top right; to do so at discussion or single category level, click on Activate email notification in the Actions menus of the individual entries.
